This jacket is so incredibly warm! The burgundy color is beautiful as well. I often use it to throw over a few layers in the morning while I am getting ready to go out, so I can just throw it back in the car before I'm off on a mission, training, or fun adventure, instead of pulling a puffy in and out of my pack. It's always amazing how quickly it warms me up. I ended up going up a size as it seems jackets are running small this year. I am 5'3" 125lbs and ended up getting a medium, as the small was too tight in the chest, and especially the hips. I have older Patagonia jackets/tops that are smalls, or even extra smalls that still fit, so I don't think it's me! The medium makes for a bit baggier fit and long arms, but more comfortable. And means I can throw over a baselayer, fleece, and snugly over a shell too. I have an older down sweater (8 years old now) that I have treated very poorly wearing it for work outdoors. It is just now starting to show some wear on the fabric, but still looks just as beautiful as the day I bought it! I have no doubt this newer hooded version will last forever as well.
